It sounds like you just want to feel better, as soon as possible.

Mending the spirit, is alot like mending the body, it depends on what's hurt.

Often our ego takes a bit of damage when someone chooses not to be in a relationship with us, do something that will make you proud.
Try little volunteer work, a few simple acts of kindness, or even learning something new( maybe take a class at your local college).

Generally speaking, it's a good idea to accept that things don't always go how we would like them to,

and spend as little time as possible thinking about what might, or should, have been.

Those thoughts have nothing to do with what IS, and are just a way to keep reliving the negative part of our experience.
