Last time I felt like that, I realized I was using sadness
and anger to delay acceptance of my new reality.
The way I stopped was to mind my words, even the ones used for thought. I checked my words to make sure they reflected reality, nothing more or less, just what was. My thoughts became calm and accepting again. Soon after the sadness began to fade.
