I refuse to carry on text based conversations. A couple exchanges is fine, but more than that and we might as well talk to each other. I just don't like having to type, when I can talk.
I suspect you were just looking for a few decent guys to speak up... "present and accounted for." It would give a bit hope in a possibly slow dating period. Night shift and single parenting does make for a somewhat challenged social life.
Some understandably thought you were seeking advice.
Morgan's advice may have seemed personal, but it really wasn't. She was just following the all to often overlooked logic that "We are the common element in all of our relationships, so if there is a common problem, we are the first likely solution."
Had you been seeking advice, as your roll call post implied, it was good advice. Even though it does generally aggravate people a bit, or a lot, depending on what nerve it hits.
After thinking it over, I realized the cheapest thing about having dog... is buying it, and that seems to be a stretch for you right now. I don't think you can afford the animal, but don't worry about him. We've grown fond of each other and I'll be keeping him.
"As the final sunset rolls behind the earth and the clock is finally dead I'll look at you, you'll look at me and we'll cry a lot and this will be what we said..."
Twice a year this little one stoplight(literally one) town hosts approximatley 150,000 race fans. The majority of which drink too much and shower too little.
Ignoring someone because they don't open the conversation with "good~whatevever" is actually quite rude. Having good manners is part of having class, and part of that is being gracious whenever possible. What you describe is a bunch of unptight hypocrits that just want things done their way. I would suspect their snobbery is rooted in some sort of resentment of outsiders.
C'mon HJ, you've been around a bit. You know we're in a deep mess and that things weren't going to turn around immediately. Just as you knew any incoming president's approval and confidence ratings were going to steadily fall as he tries to work through the problems he inherited.
If you don't like him or his policies, that's fine.
But gloating over falling poll numbers, it's a bit freshman
RE: He quit talking to me
Yea, we do stuff like that sometimes.Share pics upfront, and meet face to face
as soon as you're comfortable.
Marriage considerations before meeting, is just crazy talk.
Don't do that anymore.
