I bought a new one 3 1/2 years ago for 169K. Up until a month ago it was valued at about 190K. Looks like I'll be renting it out vice selling it when I head for Afghanistan this winter.

Here in the PHX area it all depends on the area you are in. Snobsdale, Paridice Valley they can run in the 300-700K range Depending on square footage also, some are 1.5mil+. Up on Camelback Mtn. the estates start around 10 million. How many would you like??
I live in an older retirement community. I have a 2 bedroom/2 bath on the golf course that would go for around 140K. We don't pay school taxes here, the taxes on my place are around $750.00 per year.

In Northern Ireland , this time last year, my house was valued at $400.000, and its only an average 3 bedroom house!
To get the same in Dublin would cost approx 1.5million
