been on loads of dates with women from all over the country... the only ones that ever lasted as more than a few dates, were the ones who lived close to me...
it's just easier when they ain't far away.... but i don't like planning... so it's easier to be spontaenous with someone who lives close
ah u seemed to have missed my point fifi!!! not slaggin off single people, or the single life, or anyones choice to be single.. just amazed at the absolute idiotic/mean/nasty/two-faced behaviour of some of the forum users here... that's all :)
but if i was insecure about something and i asked a partner how they felt about it, i would NOT be happy to hear them confirm my insecurities...
I mean, why is she asking him in the first place??? simple, so she can hear him tell her he loves her just the way she is... (even if he himself wishes she would lose the weight)... im pretty sure the woman in question wants to lose the weight too!!! i think she has a better chance of doing this through encouragemtn to join the gym with her partner, rather than have him tell her i don't like u anymore... JMO
you usually make an awful lot of sense on these forums fifi... a calm collected response u just about always make..
however, i think ur waaaaaay off base on this. He is more worried about her feelings and trying to keep her self esteem up by telling her she is attractive. He even said he still finds her attractive. And she constantly asks him the weight question, so it seems like it is her who has the doubts about her attractivness..
and nowhere did he mention perfection. not once!!! Sorry, but i think here is a guy who genuienly loves and cares about his gf's feelings.
that's a bit unfair... what has that dude said that's 'wrong'??? SHE keeps asking him if he finds her unattractive with the extra weight.. (she wouldn't be asking if she didn't feel unattractive herself) yet he keeps telling her she is attractive. He is being honest in saying he doesn't find her AS attractive before she put on the weight. He is not pushing her to lose weight or do any sort of extreme dieting. He sounds like a pretty caring guy.
i think most 'scary movies' are just gruesome, not scary... but in fairness, The Excorist seriously creeps me out... and i remember watchin the Poltergeist movies as a kid. Properly scared me
ah but vin... is it acceptable that money can buy you face time (albeit it meaningless) with the leader of our country?? i find that pretty distasteful and elitest
oh it stinks alright!! but there is no way in hell will i believe that it is just fianna fail who got up to this kind of carry on... bet ur life that majority of political parties do, or have done, the very same thing
the media has a lot to answer for if you ask me!!! whether they acted of their own accord or have certain papers or tv stations have certain allegiances to people or parties, it was disgusting to watch at times....
just ask yourself has any politician at the time of a general election come under as much scrutiny during a campaign as some of the candidates for this 'powerless' office!!!
i agree with ya vin.... although, i am a bit dissapointed in him that he felt he had to lie or hide the fact... just when he was being questioned be Pat Kenny on it, he appeared to behave just like any politican who has ever been caught out... i can see why he would want to distance or make little of anything he ever had to do with FF, but i'd have respected him a lot more if he just said 'well, yeah, so what...'
macbook perfect for what i use the internet for.. movies, music, general browsing...
i managed to find a license code online (shhhhh) for iworks so didn't have to pay for that and my god, pages beats microsoft word hands down any day!!! i do a lot of writing so it's worked out well for me.
