BrEyes, that's beautiful. It brought tears to my eyes. It's beautifully done. Thank you. Remembering our soldiers now, away from home, puts things in perspective.
My grandfather was robbed by 2 men he knew and thrown from a moving train. His right arm and leg were cut off. He did live though. And those 2 men that did this to him lived in the same town all of those years. My grandfather held public office so they had to see him at times, if only during election time.
Jeff, I have to look at your pics occasionally. I just did and the one of you and GG as nerds had me laughing out loud. She's so lovely, I'm surprised she pulled it off. You, on the other hand, I would have no doubt!
Jenae, if you click the quote button at the bottom of the window it will quote the person you are trying to respond to. Good luck here. It's a lot of fun. Great people here.
I'll honestly consider doing what someone wants, but if the answer is no he has to respect me enough to leave it at that. Who knows, I may eventually change my mind.
I can accept her not being able to talk with us now, I'm just afraid that she won't ever contact us again. Em is afraid of that as well, but there is nothing we can do about it.
We still have Adam in our hearts and our memories and in the music list they built. He's still with us in our dreams.
Yes, I do. Thank you. We'll get back to some kind of normalcy eventually. We learned after my mother died - she lived with us - that we didn't have a normal anymore and had to create a new one. We have to do that again now.
I often wonder why someone would be interested in me after they get to know me. I'm always surprised that someone looks past the health problems, etc and still is interested in me.
Thanks, JB. At first she clung to Em. I think in her heart she always will. She said that he was happier with her than he had been since his dad died - which was only about 6 months ago. And in his last days, Emily was all he thought about.
