Actually Albertaghost has done so about 6 times or more. Just look at the threads that he calls the "Jooooo" threads. Most of them were either locked early or timed out at 51 pages. Al is the last one to post on most of them and almost always ends with some kind of summary or concluding attack. It's quite remarkable. I don't know how he does it. I don't much care either. Having to have the last word is so immature.

My Muslim friend teaches Islamic studies at a prestigious university. He is all about peace love and understanding. Has been for the 20 years I've known him. The man just returned from visiting his daughter in Egypt. He's very excited about the prospects for a new future there - in the most important of all the Arab countries.

It seems to me the democracies in the world don't go out of their way to help a new democracy get off the ground. We did nothing for Iran or Egypt. I for one think a coalition of the willing should always be ready to help in any way they can.

Ron Schiller, president of the National Public Radio Foundation, has apologized for videotaped comments he made including his statement that Jews control the print media.
Schiller, who was already set to leave his position, said his resignation scheduled for May 6 would now happen "immediately" after discovery of the video was made on March 8.
"I offer my sincere apology to those I offended," Schiller said, adding, "In an effort to put this unfortunate matter behind us, NPR and I have agreed that my resignation is effective today.”
In the video, Schiller was meeting with two men posing as wealthy would-be Muslim donors who said they wanted to make a $5 million contribution.
The Muslim donors were discussing Jewish control of the media; Schiller added his sentiments saying that "Zionist influence" doesn't exist at NPR, but "it's there in those (Zionists) who own newspapers obviously."
Schiller can also be heard laughing in the video when one of the men jokes that NPR should be known as "National Palestinian Radio."

GOD’S SUBLIME MERCY AND COMPASSION
God in His Holy Bible has given us a beautiful example of His compassionate mercy. Included in the Holy Bible is the book called Jonah. In it God tells of a very wicked city with a population of more than 120,000 people that existed about 2,800 years ago. It was called Nineveh, which was a capital city of the nation of Assyria that knew nothing of the Bible. But because of its wickedness and because Holy God is merciful, He sent a prophet named Jonah to that city. Jonah’s message from God to them was that in 40 days the whole city was to be destroyed.
The whole city correctly believed with all their hearts that this warning was from Holy God. Thus from the king on down to the lowest servant they repented, which means they turned away from their sins and their pride. The Holy Bible tells us that they sat in sackcloth and ashes. This meant that they fully realized that because of their sins they had dreadfully shamed God. To put on sackcloth and ashes was an act of supreme humility to show in the clearest way to God and to all of the people how greatly they were humbled by their sins against Holy God. It showed that they knew that they fully deserved that God should destroy them because of their sin.
But maybe, there was hope that Holy God might change His mind and instead have mercy on them. The Bible tells us in Jonah 3:6-9:
For the word came unto the king of Nineveh, and he arose from his throne, and he laid his robe from him, and covered him with sackcloth, and sat in ashes. And he caused it to be proclaimed and published through Nineveh by the decree of the king and his nobles, saying, Let neither man nor beast, herd nor flock, taste any thing: let them not feed, nor drink water: But let man and beast be covered with sackcloth, and cry mightily unto God: yea, let them turn every one from his evil way, and from the violence that is in their hands. Who can tell if God will turn and repent, and turn away from his fierce anger, that we perish not?
In answer to their complete humility we read of God’s fabulous, incomprehensible mercy toward these extremely wicked people. God tells us in Jonah 3:10: And God saw their works, that they turned from their evil way; and God repented of the evil, that He had said that He would do unto them; and He did it not.
Because this entire wicked city of Nineveh turned from their evil ways and with great humility cried to God for mercy, Holy God did change His mind and did not destroy them.
Let them pitch a tent or park a motorhome outside the gate to watch the place and keep unauthorized looters out is one thing, but to let them inside... not a good idea.
I think you are right. Worried about the spike in oil prices and Israels syggestion we give them $20 billion more in military aid. Then there's the health care mess and Social Security to fund. Where is the money coming from? Capital gains?
No, I think the Jewish people should be allowed to go where ever they want. If you think about it, Jews have lived on every continent in almost every nation.
If they were garanteed a life secure and peaceful, a country is not needed, as this was/is one of the prime reasons the Zionist gave for its creation in the first place.
