the idea is great yes..harness the wind..its renewable energy and sure we've wind in abundance in this country..I dont know if I'd like 1 beside my house..I've heard they cast a flickering shadow on the surrounding countryside houses included..it may not seem much but try living with that for a few months and you'll be driven crazy also they supposedly emit a low humming noise..doesn't seem much but again try living with that for a few months and see how you feel..i suppose its just a case of getting used to it
an aul fella said to me before that this country has gone to the dogs since we got our independence from the brits..as much as it saddens me to say he's right..we can't run our own country..greed and corruption are systemic in Ireland..least if the brits were still here we'd be much better off...men of honour and integrity that would have the countries best interest at heart..instead we have gangsters that dress up in suits..Rob us blind and tell us what we want to hear..scum
ever tried quitting smoking as a heavy smoker..I think its more than mental...you wont be able to sleep for the next 2 or 3 nights if you go cold turkey..couple that with weird sensations in your legs and arms..niggling twitches in your veins oh and the headaches and the general want to attack something and beat it to a pulp...but once that abates its all plain sailing
There are 400 odd thousand "layabouts" living off the state at the moment..in case you haven't noticed work is scarce and people who do find jobs are very lucky
