G_S take it as a lesson learnt. That way you can take something out of it. You're not the only fella to make a mess of an approach, and you won't be the last, it's a nerve-wracking thing after all. I get you were nervous, but that's a good thing, you obviously like the girl. Just don't let fear get in the way of getting that number!!! don't EVER leave your number with a girl again Get hers
i'm not saying i wouldn't understand why a mate might not tell me if he knew (it's bloody messy), but i don't think you could escape the feeling of disappointment and being let down - they're 2 seperate things imo, one is the trust with your partner, the other is the trust with your mate, and in my book, both are important... mates are important to me and knowing they have my back and vice-versa is important to me... loyalty, basically
ps. re-read my previous post. you started jumping the gun in a big way! (you do this alot, sorry but it's true). if people are discussing a topic (and a particular scenario), just stick to that!! of course no one knows what the OP said is truth, but that's not my concern! It's about putting yourself in the scenario presented! Don't complicate it!
Best not to beat around the bush and just come out with it. My last relationship i just told her i was sorry and that i didn't feel like it was going anywhere, which was the truth. She tried to say something and i just said 'i'm sorry' and left. If you try and explain or argue in these situations it just makes it worse... i did feel a bit bad about telling her, but i knew i'd done the right thing, and she realised it too, albeit after a bit of a cooling off period. But that's natural
There is no easy way, that's life. But the truth is the only way, if you avoid it, drag it out, it only makes the hurt 10x worse, and you become(rightly) the villain. The truth may make them hate you(for a short while), but in the long-term they'll respect you, whereas if they feel betrayed by you not being truthful, then that will stick for life. Honesty is (always) the best policy
You're wrong. It was on camera. Lip-reading experts can determine the force and tone with which the words were used, facial expression and body posture likewise reveal ALOT. The aggression with which Terry dished out the words suggest it was NOT repeating words that had already been said, but rather dishing out a full-blooded insult, Terry would have appeared taken aback IF he had been repeating what he alleged Anton had said first, but of course this was not the case. It was the court of law that failed Anton in this case, because anyone with half a brain will realize Terry is full of lies and guilty as hell. He's a scumbag pure and simple, and thankfully most people know this and don't need a court of law to tell them the real truth, that he's scum, and he's guilty
in my mind it was proven. the court (for whatever reason) chose not to see it. But then again, it would be stupid to presume something as "noble" as a court of law isn't subject to prejudices itself, this has been proven time and again over the course of history with various injustices
i'm not sure that was the case. Terry was caught on camera, it was proved what he said, and it was pretty obvious how he said it. Higher forces were at play. It would be naive to think a court of law always gets these things right, sad but true
I agree with alot of what you said. But you're wrong about Evans in that tackle. The letter of the law states that there only needs to be intent, and with Evans going to ground with studs showing on both feet, it's safe to say that those were just grounds for him to see red. Liverpool definitely have been frail defensively this season, that can't be argued, but it's a bit rich to condemn them too much in this match when they were playing with a man less, that in itself puts on huge extra pressure...There's definitely areas where Liverpool need to improve, cutting out the schoolboy errors in defense, and most importantly adding a ruthless edge in front of goal. That's what's most important. We're somewhat limited by the players we've got at this point in time, but all the same players in midfield and attack need to all start stepping up, it's not like we're not creating the chances. Leadership in the final third has been lacking. But i'm hopeful that will improve. Confidence will come in time, what's most important is the way you go about things, and in that regard there's been good signs. This is no definite overnight solution. It takes time, but i believe we're going about things in the right way, and as long as you keep doing that, you won't do too bad
I'm not bothered getting into every one of the incidents again. People will disagree on the penalty shouts, though most pundits agreed Suarez had been fouled and it was a peno. The fact that it was "Suarez" that went down, influenced the decision, it's not the first time it happened this season, and it won't be the last, refs aren't supposed to show any personal bias in such decisions, but Suarez in particular is proof that alot of them are letting their "perceptions" get in the way, which they should never do, because then they get accused of bias, and rightly so. Like Glen Johnson said, if Suarez had gone down in the fashion Valencia did, would he have been given a peno? Probably not. And he was bang on the money. Until refs start referreeing the incidents on merit, and not based on who's involved, then they're gonna get stick. And rightly so. 2 points from 15 is disappointing, there's no doubt, but 3 of those 5 games were against City, Arsenal, and yourselves. We've got a new manager, new system, and a good few new players. What i'm more concerned about is the attitude, and i've seen good signs. We weren't outplayed by the top 2 teams from last season, and that we can say that already at this early stage gives me hope. Arsenal was the only game we were truly outplayed in so far, and for anyone who watched the game, Arsenal gave probably the best performance of any team so far this season. Both in defense and attack. Abou Diaby was like a demon. Like a mix between Yaya Toure, Zidane, and Viera. I can honestly say i haven't seen a midfield display as good in a long time. But that will happen. Every team at one time will come up against a team at the absolute top of their game. That was Arsenal on that day. Liverpool certainly didn't deserve anything out of that game, but they didn't play AS bad as some people say, we actually had more possession in their final third than they did in ours, they just defended superbly and were ruthless on the counter, credit to them
As for Glen Johnson diving twice and deserving to be sent off, i'm sorry but you've lost me there First time i've heard that mentioned by you or anyone else since the game
i have to agree Neville is a great pundit, when i first saw him as a pundit tbh i thought "oh jesus, here we go", expecting a whole load of United bias, but that's far from the case, he's very good in the role
Simply commenting on one game. That you feel the need to make such comments shows you still fear Liverpool. The give-away of nearly every United fan. But then again your messiah is on the way out, not long left til ol' purple nose retires, and i know every United fan fears big time the success will leave with him On the other hand we have a young and hungry manager - sure, the league position is disappointing, but there's real signs of improvement - we deserved to beat the reigning champions, and we deserved to beat you lot today. That that can be said already, with a new manager with a new system and a number of changes in playing personnell, shows things are moving in the right direction. Future's bright Not sure i can say the same for you lot... Any team relying on midfielders pushing 40 is gonna struggle
@sofar your ignorance shows you as the ultimate deluded fan who can't see through his goggles and Ashley Cole and Evra had nothing to do with any of these decisions What beer number are you on
RE: grinding teeth in your sleep
did someone say grindin'
