One couple that farmed around here stayed un-married , kept their own names , kids had dad's surname . No one misunderstood who she was as both had their careers before they moved here and moved again onto a bigger farm . Unusual for a couple to be unmarried and farming together . 2 out of 50 odd maybe .

Well yes and no Jim , the Monarchy has real power when needed . The debate is going on here as well about retaining the Monarchy or electing a president . Any president would be drawn from the rubbish we have . It's well better to have the Monarchy as head of state with HM's rep here drawn from the pool of rubbish , having said that we have a good one at the moment . my x went back to her family name for a while then reverted back to mine . Don't know why and don't want too . As there are only 10 in the whole country who share it I should sell naming rights to those who can pronounce it
