Where's the smoke , ever since I could tell red from blue I have been told the nice RED sunsets in our summer have been caused by Aussie bush fires . Sometimes the haze is so obvious that any one could be forgiven for thinking that a fires burns just over the horizon . Our news here is that Aussie is all in flames , hottest ever , global warming has / is distroying Aus . I don't doubt that there are fires just the extent of them . No fire without smoke , no smoke here and no red sunsets . It's not only me who has noticed this as well .
hello Robo , QE 11 rep and the council fella were talking a few years back when we were wandering around my scrub , they were saying that NZ's Karaka tree won't burn as well , not sure if it would grow in 40 degree heat though . Low temp burns and cattle would be a good thing , interesting bit in one of the National Geograficphic about burning off when it's cold to reduce the rubbish . A different mind set .
yep snow in NZ this summer . Copped a snow fall here last winter , two the year before . This is area that it's not supposed to get snow . Global warming my eye
50 meters is two close . Fires I have lit have jumped far further and not with 40 degree temp . The type of tree must make a difference as well , a place without shade is not a nice place to be in temps of 30 much less what you guys get . Plastic gutters , downpipes and the like are just waiting for a good cinder to fall on the roof .

The growth in China has been brought about by exports . They need the west more than we need them . Growth in China has slowed because of lack of demand for their exports , now they are not spending so much on coal , steel and the like . From what I understand the tax rises are poorly spread and hit the middle class harder than the wealthy , same place where all the votes are . GOP must have big balls to let that happen or no brains .

Well I got my pressi last Wednesday at 2.15 am , my first grandchild . A little girl a bit over seven pounds . Mum to be left home for the birth at 10ish pm Tuesday , her and my son's old house now sitting empty because they (mum and baby ) arrived home to a new house as my son and his girls parents moved everything while new mum was in hospital .
Hello Robo , AA what he wanted and what happened were to very different things . The change that he brought about brought savagery to his people much worse than anything the English ever did . Not sure it has stopped yet as India and Pakistan have eyedballed each other with nukes . All that can be said that India has the vote and it's elections run better than the US's .
