No matter how I try to change my view of it, I just loathe putting away my clothes. Is it the fact that the coathangers get caught on eachother, the lack of room in the wardrobe, the categorising for easier selection??? A bit of all of the above? I don't know, but I do know I just HATE putting away my clothes!

House work in general is a total bore but have to do it don't we Can't afford a maid
lillyleaf: So you like a bit of brass music on the side Wash2u? Must say I'm pretty partial to the sax myself, something very sensual about the notes it produces

Putting the linen away, I have a massive walk-in wardrobe with a large shelf as well as a pantry, but do you think I can get all the linen put away? Forget it! Like I have two spare sets off linen for winter, for my bed and the kids bed, the kid has that much stuff she takes up two rooms, looks like I will be off to furniture spot real soon! As I need a bigger set off draws and the kid is asking for a wardrobe,
And its wash day tomorrow! Again! it’s a good job I have a 7kg front loader washer!

More room you have, the more room you can store stuff. I have 4.5m of built-ins plus 2 low boys filled just for me. And I mean full

Merriweather: I dont like any indoor work... !!! but if its outside...I am fine... I guess cooking is my failure... I am just not good at doing it...
Cooking is easy! I have been doing it since I was a kid, taught two wife’s and a kid how to cook! Its really basic if you think about it? The last EX used to play bingo with her Nana every Sunday night, I would make cakes and stuff for her to take and share, she was very popular there for a few years! Her Nana really loves cakes!
But nobody touches my garden! That is a work in progress, many plans and ideas, very little money ATM, but it will happen eventually?

I dont mind the cake making Blizz...
Only if I have an opportunity to share...
Like this Christmas, I made a Tim Tam cheese cake... and shoved in some Morello cherries for fun... turned out beaut..
and for New Years... I made a peach and meringe pie... and that was very nice...
so those things I can do... but only if I am going somewhere... where there are lots of people to share with...
but basic cooking... I guess I am not good at... I just dont have the motivation to be fussed with cooking...
But Jeez, you should see my garden... its a delight...
n I still am not much of a drinker :dai:daisy:
and I am currently making peach liqueur at the moment... 2 jars stored for July this year... and going to attempt to make brandy with peaches, sugar and yeast... the bubble bubble toil and trouble stuff.. lol...... lol :
I detest ironing!!! I can handle the fact that washing has to be done over and over, but at least the machine doesn't need me to stand there and help it
I enjoy cooking, always more fun when shared.....either the producing and/or eating.
I need MUCH more storage room as I like everything in its place. I cannot get organised as I don't have the SPACE! Grrrrrr.
So yep...ironing is the work designated by the devil as far as I am concerned and I refuse to buy things that need ironing if there is another option!
Bird nests in the roof... really dislike starlings... but dont want to pull halflings from their nests.... but is truly my mistake, as if I had done it through winter, they would be empty... but if I slip of the roof, then it would not matter... dang, bad story but cant seem to relate it to Homer....
