13 years is to long living apart , I don't think most marridges last that long . Someone has to be mobile . Got interested in a woman in the south island when I first joined here , she had a block of land , her parents were building on it . Pragmatic things are first . no way could either of us move , besides she found another fella

. Yep , it was a nice icecream thanks , you still have to check out who you are chatting to in the end .

Well I don't think my better half is within 10 k radius of here , there is not another living soul that close to here at this time of night . I saw a comment somewhere about 2hrs to visit someone being a LDR ,errrrrrrr nope thats close . Went on a date six hrs there and six hrs back . What a hoot ! plus another 1 hr to 1.5 off road driving , 13 hrs plus just for an effing icecream

I could imagine three dirty big bulldozers being pulled by a tracter unit looking to start a new opencast mine . The greens would be lying on the roads to stop you , all the queers recalled to Parliament for a big ho-down . Army sent to set up road block , after you have past .Wouldn't want to get our troops hurt now would we , bless all two of them .

So much for gobal warming Nlife , threats of snow here still . Grass has not grown at all , starting to show in the cattle . Polar bear spotted in Wellington snatching homeless from the streets . Expect an ice bridge to form between NZ & Aus next winter, should well help the the rest of us migrate .

Lancewood , one of NZ's trees has a number of changes as it matures and if you did not know them you would swear they are different trees . Good to see Merri's plant is not Ginger as it's one of the worlds most invasive plants .

well no Merri , . I have looked in Yates garden guide ,a NZ native tree book (a good one ) and a booklet on noxious weeds . Google image search as well . It looks like Kahili Ginger to my mind but wrong colour flowers .

We had three big ones , same shape as the on in Robo's pic and a number of self sown small ones as well . One under power lines had to cut down and the shoots that come up around the stump killed as well . Bumble bees really like the flowers on the mature trees but I don't remember how old they are when they first flower . The biggest leaves were on one amongst other trees in part shade .

Had a few of those trees where I was in Gisborne , as young trees they won't be much chop for firewood but if the trees are the same the leaves will be 18 inches to 2 foot across . Only when the trees are young though . No like power bills , stick em .

No I don't unlike those people who have taken the world within a whisker of collapse .However after running my own farms for over thirty years I know crap when I smell it and Romney is full of just that ,crap . Think for yourself , it it was possible to do what Romney says don't you think that Obama would do it . Where does Romney get his advise from , that is so different from Obama's .

spent time with imageshack and it dropped after 15 mins , could not tell how far it went as the page was blank . Front doors open with this one Robo , trying to sort and think I am close to Pb with a closed door .
