offers more absorbency and a more satisfactory wipe, I reckon
I know it's an old question but new days, new people, new opinions!
I purchased several shirts/blouses/ that don't need to be ironed. They remain looking scrunched. The label even advises to scrunch the garments and also has a diagram of how to do it.I tried ironing one of these garments and the creases would not iron. Great domestic invention!! Just hope the fashion doesn't change to quickly!!! Also many garments can fit into a suitcase when scrunched. Not so sure about mens clothes.

Oh whew! For a while I thought we were talking about something else. I always fold clothes as I put em into a suitcase, but at the other end of my trip, they come out scrunched!!?? So there you go a bit of both then really.

Ties need to go to the dry cleaners - after washing a few and trying to iron them. And not a cheap item for such a small bit of material. I have paid less for a decent pair of jeans. And best way to pack them is to roll them up.
I go for cotton shirts and that means ironing. After being away for the last 3 weekends, means I have 19 shirts (counted them), a few T-shirts, several pairs of jeans and some trousers to do over Easter. Going to need the 4 days off just for that.
I don't bother with ironing the sheets and pillow cases, tea-towels and towels like my mum did.

Fold, more bang for your buck! And I don’t use the cheep stuff!
As for the clowns thinking she is talking about clothing! At age 9 I used to iron my own jeans until I was 35? Now I just iron what I am wearing out if it needs ironing,
I grew up with a mother that ironed sheets? And underwear?
