I like the friendship I find in here. To me it's a wee bit more than a singles site without being intrusive. I'm still single but I'd like to think I'd keep up the friendships I've made in here, were my circumstances to change!
I have just booked into the Ashling Hotel in Parkgate Street. It's a 3 star and cost me 100 euro for the night including breakfast! You guys had better turn up now!
Ah but what you failed to mention was the end of the story:
On hearing that he had bought strong drink for another, a petition was presented at the Tollbooth in Edinburgh infront of the Honourable Hector MacGodsgift who immediately issued a warrant for the arrest, removal of Scottish Nationality and immediate execution in the Kirkgate; this being the most heinous crime under Scottish Law.
But Sir Walter had friends, well he owed them money, and they spirited him to the Port of Leith, and after the Smugglers Inn had closed, they put him on board an Irish Fishing boat and that same North Sea, whose winds had frozen his assets down the years ( for he was indeed a true Scotsman), took him to the small Irish port called Balle An Cliath where after removing him of all monies, pocket watch and first option on his daughter on her 16th birthday, the crew set him free on Irish soil.
Poor Walter wandered the the dock area of the city forelonly until he met a wench by the nane of Aiofe O'Losty. ( You know where this is going now.) Aiofe and Walter fell in love and moved into a halting site where they produced strong children now that the Earl's assets were no longer frozen as the Irish Sea was indeed more fruitful than the North Sea.
On hearing of his crime in Alba, the authorities here in Erin granted him citizenship only on condition that his descendants should always buy the first drink. Well Losty, that was your great great grandfather and I'm delighted to say that come Saturday 27th October 2008...........IT'S YOUR ROUND!
Jaysus, cut it once a week. We've had solid rain for 2 months. Shannon is built on the bog! And frankly, I'd rather get in touch with your feminine side! I thought you knew I was a smoker...covers up the smell of the leprosy!
I need to do today, all the stuff I put off from yesterday. I'm sure there's a garden under that wilderness outside and I need to go and find it. You should see the wee house now. I've got new windows and doors in. It doesn't look like Noddy's house any more. And it's so warm and cosy! So if I can get the garden done, then it's hey presto Little House on the Prarie!
Ah Nuala, you mention all these deserts that are so close to my heart...Angel Delight Mmmmmmmmmm. But please explain after eating all of that, what possible good to you is Diet Coke?
Oh the joys of living alone. Saturday is usually housework and wash day for me inbetween doing a bit of work. Today I've decided not to answer the phone. The world can survive without me today!
The only trouble is I now have to start doing all these jobs I've been putting off because of the rain. The car needs a service and the garden is a wilderness!
RE: why are there people in relationships on a singles site?????
