Well, 4 years ago, within 2 hours of landing at Malaga Airport in Spain, I found myself in a hospital 50 miles away with a craked pelvis and a smashed wrist having locked us all out of the house and fallen off a ladder trying to get back in. The pelvis got cracked by landing on the mobile phone in my trouser pocket and my wrist by the chunky watch I had bought the week before to go on holiday.
And why was the hospital 50 miles away...because the local hospital had been closed down after going on fire that morning!
Oh yes...the guy who had lent us the ladder, a born again Christian called Al had neglected to add that he had a spare key for the house which could have prevented the whole mess in the first place
And there are people on here who can verify that this is all true.
So, yup! I do believe I'm accident prone....it's funny now though!
I'm havin a rare aul time over here in Glasgow.'Twas a pity I missed Saturday. Been out with 4 women in the lst week. One was my mother, one was my cousin and 2 were married friends of mine. But hey, they all count! How's you? I think I may be hijacking again!
Listen, stop worrying. As long as the car has been repaired to manufacturer's standards, it doesn't matter whose number plate is on it. Just relax. The garage is more interested in keeping you as a customer buying a new car than they are in the state of the trade in. Their assessment of the value of your car comes out of a book, not from looking at the car. There is a lot more financial juggling goes on in the motor trade than I would care to admit. RELAX
Because the wider you spread your net, the more likely you are to catch fish. The friendship and the forums show your personality which can attract people.
You can only give love I'm afraid. You can't make someone love you by behaving a certain way or telling them your innermost thoughts.
What I do know is that I can't have a relationship with someone else till I have one with me. I can't understand anybody else unless I understand me. I can't love someone else with all their faults, failings and blemishes until I do the same for me.
Otherwise I am only using these women to fill an inner emptiness and I am being both selfish and dishonest. When I thought I was looking for love I was actually looking for pity and freedom from loneliness.
As for giving love to another human being, well...I can't give what I don't have. And I ended up needing a great deal of help to sort that out and it didn't happen overnight.
Oh, I think your trying to go back to days that never existed. I think 'twas always thus. I pine over the old days of steam railways. I suspect at that time someone was pining over the old days of the canal. And at that time someone was pining over the older days of the horse. There's more certainty in the past than the present or the future which are subject to change. JMO
Sadly a lot of you girls like to court danger by going out with bad boys. Seems that the thing that attracts you is the same thing that hurts you. We teach people how to treat us.
