I have bipolar disorder and feel like Pebbles does every day of my life, except when I am in a manic phase. This disorder is hell on Earth, but the key is moving forward and never look back.
When I first came to the forums, it took months before anyone would really talk to me. I just posted in the "sillier" threads and got use to how people react towards different topics.
I dipped my toe into the serious threads, but I found that water rather chilly for my tastes. I guess I come here to lose myself for an hour or so, and have fun and try to be funny.
Maybe you could take a step back and not get too caught up in what some people post, and find your niche here with more patience.
I have been here going on 3 years, and sometimes I feel like I am a newbie myself. Not all the old-timers are in a clique. You just have to adapt to the place and not try to change it all at once.
