No Australia has nothing like this at all. Perhaps we dont have enough tradition yet.Seems like a tradition we should adopt as it seems very family orientated. Anyway cheers and enjoy everyone.
I agree with Abra. Life was simpler when I was young. We had more realistic expectations and worked harder at relationships.Nowadays every thing is disposable and some people dont even get past the instruction book.
Hi and welcome.Dont you just love friends that put you on site then disappear. Still learning to swim and nearly ready to get rid of the floaties.Hope you make many friends on here
Seeing Canada has always been my dream. Have not met one person who has not loved it there. My son is working there at the moment so my dream of visiting is getting closer.
That wasnt aimed at you Abra or Taboon.I like the way you both said history as opposed to baggage. It all boils down to experience. Were the experiances good or bad.
I know a lot about myself but am still far from knowing it all.As humans we are ever changing. Life and people take us down many different paths and experiences.Along the way we may learn to, like things we thought we disliked, discover that what was once important is less so now,etc etc. Life is a learning curve and we learn from the good as well as the bad.
Paws I cant imagine you hurting anyone deliberately,so please be gentle on yourself. We do not live in a perfect world and best laid plans and intentions can go astray.I like to think we can get rid of baggage and most of us strive for that, but deep pain, insecurities, etc often reappear when least expected. When this happens to me I try to work out why and how to better deal with it in the future. Do any of us REALLY know ourselves.
