I don't know what happened but see that everyone is upset... I am upset to see some good guys being banned or cancelled their profiles. But what some people are missing to see is that bullying is not only happening in aggressive way. It isn't something new too... I see people who forget that the coin has two sides. I see a lot of sly bullying and trolling, pushing people out of threads, ganging up... Everyone has his own opinion and has every right to express it. I am totally against bullying and trolling and avoid such threads... I don't understand what grown up people can not share on here, according to the profiles we are the best of the best, but are we, really?
As a former TV and newspaper journalist myself I am very well aware of the rules and regulations of that profession. Presenting the news should never show personal involvement, and must always give voice to both (or more) sides of the story. It doesn't breach the freedom or ethics... Even the investigating journalists can not present the case one sided...

My country is relatively unarmed, martial arts are very popular... I used to train with rifle and gun since early age, sport wise of course... I don't know how well can one defence himself when attacked by a gang of cowards, as they usually come in groups and don't dare go solo... I wouldn't rely on my fists, no matter how well trained they are, the reality proved that even a single shot in the air works better than rolling your sleeves up...
Unfortunately being street wise isn't what it was before. Now when you happen to learn something on the street you realise you've passed your learning time. Trying to turn a lamb into a wolf could only happen the hard way... The social reality is like listening to a Mantra, we all become half asleep and vulnerable... Any news about Tom? Medias seem to have already forgotten what happened ...

You have all the time in the world to make mistakes and search for the right direction Brenden, nobody can tell what is the right thing to do, listen to your guts and be ready to take responsibility for your own actions... And don't forget to enjoy every single moment...
I don't know why but this combination of words puts me on my toes...and makes me feel there is something wrong. The irony here is that the killer was training martial arts, that means he was supposed to use it for defence not attack, but as you mentioned diversity, we know how some people deal with their problems... Unfortunately the lambs will suffer until they learn...
"I don't know what to say..." these were my words when I went to see my friend's mother, we just sat down and cried like it was the best thing to do... In moments like this we somehow want best thing to happen for our own sake...
