Yes, it depends indeed, but usually people who say age doesn't matter have a vision of themselves with a way too young partner and they are just trying to justify it... Experience and maturity are not always related to age...
Well, no, not necessarily a law... Trying to keep yourself in a good spirit no matter what is OK, but you have to go through the hard part anyway...it won't change it... Pushing yourself to be always in a good mood and suppress your true feelings is extremely harmful not only to your mental but physical health too... And as a matter of fact most people who are classed as "beautiful souls", always helpful to everyone, forgiving and living their lives to do good to others usually end up having a hard life and near to none appreciation.
I believe and even keen myself to surrender to such an opportunity at a more mature age, as it will be only you and him then, both settled in life, no hassle, no pressure...
To be frank Serene, I am not the person that could give a straightforward answer as I have never been married... I know many who are not afraid to go through it again and again hoping for a different experience... But I have noticed that those who have never been married are more keen on skipping the procedure...

Sometimes all the restrictions are swept under the carpet if there is a visual attraction... But I have witnessed some very restrictive profiles that make you feel better, as you didn't have to waste time with people far from your liking (characteristically) ... Honesty is best even if it temps you to ridicule the provider...
