It's true, and it's about healthy balance and not a competition... There are so many housewives in the Western world, who never had a job, because they raised the children and supported their husbands in achieving career goals... Nobody sees them as lazy users and money abusers...
I don't understand why women feel obliged to prove how independent they are... It's normal when one of the two in a couple makes more money, the other one should not feel bad about it... Unless they are exclusively looking for someone who will match their earnings, which is fairly impossible to achieve... Many insist it's the personality that matters the most when looking for the Right one and in the same breath they would place restrictive details which are quite petty... I don't see anything wrong if your man earnes more and wants to share it with you...we, women, do a lot of invisible and unpaid work, do we have to present him with a bill at the end of the month?!
To answer the question, no, never had a moment of hesitation if one of us had to leave... We might think he/she is the one, but sometimes they are simply not on the same wave... If one wants to go, we should let them go...
