Hi Lindsy, and thanks for your sympathy, we are actually not to be pitied. We were forced to go overnight through a process that requires several decades if not more. The good points are that we see clear what the Westerns mistakes are and we skip them easily. The other good thing is that we are more sensible and we react faster and with better results. Not to mention that the nationalism and patriotism are very strong. The west tends to point a finger at us about the corruption and bad justice, forgetting that we see that the only difference with the west is that their corruption is more "shirt and tie" and the bad justice hides behind "human rights bs"... I am sure that we don't suffer disinformation and propaganda as the majority of the west.
And to go back to the original topic, it must be pretty clear why we should keep the swarms away... By giving them the luxury to choose a life in a liberal society instead of standing their ground and fighting for their own future, we trigger the primitive, animal approach to this easily granted freedom and we support the anarchy disguised as a humanitarian act...And to answer those who will say "The war is not their fault", if one sits and wait for someone else to fight for his freedom he definitely doesn't deserve it...
I love a good conversation about anything and everything, I am curious and have no problem talking to strangers, a little joke can make the day much brighter and I never miss an opportunity... That's in real life... Here...not any different... The only time I am quiet(well, not for long) is when I really, really like someone...
It is extremely difficult to make a Westerner understand a situation like this... It's like explaining why my country was hundred times better before the "Democracy"... There is no such thing as equality but work and life with dignity for every one, this is what we had. Not to even start talking about economy, agriculture, export...now, 25 years later we still struggle to come out of the hands of the Anarchy... It makes me laugh when Westerners are trying to explain to me how bad the life has been with the communists... Those who back then claimed to be the dissidents are now shameless decadents...

And to describe the differences between Arabs and let's say Koreans again, I see it like this: Give an Arab and A Korean a gingerbread house to live in, the Arab will eat as much as he can and leave the rest to rot, the Korean will slice it, pack it, sell it (living rough during this process) and with the profit will buy himself a proper house...

Speaking of the dictators, it seems that none of the "human rights supporting" countries doesn't want to free the Koreans... But someone, somewhere in the Middle East and North Africa, broke the "contract" with the Powerful of the day and that's the outcome...
