since you've expressed this a few times now, I would like to say that cows do grieve the loss of their calves and that in itself demonstrates an understanding/feeling of sort.
if a man doesn't approach you it's very likely he isn't interested, and if he is interested and does nothing, that is questionable, raises many doubts.
