RE: What's Cookin', Good Lookin'?

Hola ! cowboy

Lazy Man's Enchiladas - Several recipes on the web, but not many videos about preparing this dish in a skillet. This video by 'Ro Tel' shows skillet chicken enchiladas, but I'm using pre-cooked ground beef instead, simmer for 20 minutes and if desired, can be cooked with cheese only. May add long grain rice and before eating portion, top with a spoonful of sour cream and a few sliced black olives.
In the video, fresh tortillas are used, but can use tortilla chips instead, and I've even seen a recipe using corn chips. Any enchilada sauce brand will do or even make your own. I even add salsa to the mix. So many ways to chose ingredients for this dish. Recommended sides: Refried beans and garden salad, or is fabulous by itself.

Bon appetit. wine

RE: If your bathroom mirror could talk, what would it say to you?

conversing I don't have a bedroom mirror, but seriously, if the bathroom mirror could talk, it would yell-out:

professor Glass Cleaner ! Now !

RE: If your bathroom mirror could talk, what would it say to you?

Cuddling-Cuddling standing there. Who is the greatest mirror that is fair ?

RE: If your bathroom mirror could talk, what would it say to you?

Ouch, I hope it's nothing too serious.

RE: If your bathroom mirror could talk, what would it say to you?

RE: Best of current singers, what's your fave?

sad flower Oh this is so awful. National news has reported that David Bowie has passed. The news was from his official site and if it's not the truth, then his site has been hacked. This report is so new, that there isn't even a video report about it yet. Standing by for more reports and updates.

RE: What's the first sigh of madness??

professor Thought I'd be clever and search for a simple clinical answer. roll eyes The answer was, everyone is different and insanity can manifest in many ways.

So, here's an answer from the CuddlingSoul Institute For Better Mental Health:

When one can't find, within one's self, an answer to solve inter-personal problems, then the problem builds to the point of what would be considered unstable. Madness doesn't happen overnight. Seek the helpful answers from others, if one can't find the answer.

RE: Best of current singers, what's your fave?

wave Thanks for the link, and I guess David Bowie could be considered current. Though not high on the charts, he released his twenty-fifth studio album this last Friday and was also on his 69th Birthday ! wine

RE: "El Chapo" Guzmán has been caught....Again

Hard to say really, if law enforcement set-up the interview with Penn, or if law enforcement actually infiltrated the planned interview. This video posted three hours ago.

RE: "El Chapo" Guzmán has been caught....Again

This time, send him to Cuba. No one escapes from Guantanamo.

RE: What age do you feel you are...?

Over all, I believe that I feel like a 51 year old should feel, then some days I still feel like a teenager and other days I feel close to 90.

RE: Best of current singers, what's your fave?

Adam Levine of Maroon 5 - Only group that I'd pay to go see in concert.

The hit song that launched the band.

Hotel fire in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

Reports are slow in coming, if at all. A few reports from visitors that were at the New Year fireworks display say, there were no fire alarms nor sprinkler systems in the hotel following the onset of the fire and one visitor at the New Years festivity area reported seeing the beginning of the fire, seeing an orange glow that became larger and she thought at first, that it was part of the New Year celebration. And another visitor reported seeing another fire starting on the building while firefighters were trying to control the initial fire.

This fire should be major national news, as the burning hotel is located near the tallest building in the world. Reports in the last two to four hours, are only trivial and more-less repeating old news about the fire from one day ago. And here is a video about an explosion in the building.

RE: Say Anything

Thank you Merri and a Happy New Year to you too.

For the most part, the major reason for technology being expensive in some countries and cities is due to the distance of, or from the manufacturer's location and distance from repair center locations. Many argue that in our modern age, the major price difference shouldn't exist, regardless of location or distance.

Along with this information from various sites, included the parallel, using Load Shedding as an example: Is it out of necessity, or schemes ?

Load Shedding Electricity, Rollback Power, blackouts: in many countries can last from two hours to twelve hours and for some, longer.

I see this as outrageous! I've never known a day in my life in this country without electrical power. It's downright unhealthy, isolating and production suffers without having continuous electrical power.

RE: Say Anything

conversing I didn't know. I'll have to search about the economies in the world to see the reasoning of it all.

Hey all, it's been great, but it's getting late for this second-shifter. Thanks and see ya later.

RE: Say Anything

blues Ouch.

RE: Say Anything

Technology is getting cheaper and cheaper here, every year, lower prices. Someday, in my lifetime, buying a laptop will be like going out to buy a loaf of bread. Ten years ago, I paid $1.200 for the same product that I just bought this last Saturday.

RE: Say Anything

Oh well, I guess yanks are lucky to not have the privilege to know the difference. Can't miss what one does not have. giggle

RE: Say Anything

Works has mentioned that American chocolate taste awful in comparison to the better quality chocolates from Europe. Export cost for quality chocolate to America is crazy high.

RE: Say Anything

I forgot to add that it's new. Walmart special I guess. When the sales representative said, "We have plenty in stock", I knew then that windows 10 was not a picnic.
