I'm another one who rushes home to my pets - my cat in particular.
She is my best buddy. I have a bad day and she is there to comfort - I feel sad - she is there quietly (well, purring) to console. I can tell her anything and she doesn't blab.
I work shifts at a highly stressful job and I can honestly say that she is one of my supports.
I also trust her judgement - if she doesn't like someone - well, let's just say that animals can be a pretty honest judge of character. They pick up on things that some people choose not to see.
So - can you tell I'm a pet lover?
I would hazard a guess that whoever my special man is (wherever he is) that he had better be a pet lover too....lol
(27-34 points) You are DEBBIE REYNOLDS: You are cute, and everyone loves you. You are a best friend that no one takes the chance of losing. You never hurt feelings and seldom have your own feelings hurt. Life is a breeze. You are witty, and calm most of the time. Just keep clear of back stabbers, and you are worry free.
Not sure about the breeze - sometimes things are closer to 'gale force'...lol
Respect their wishes and keep it for myself - from my best friend. A heartfelt gift from them to me - and treasured as such. Personal profit would never enter the equation.
I don't believe that I am afraid of love, but I am cautious.
When I open myself up to love, it will be completely...
but that also leaves me open to be hurt - deeply.
I guess that's the chance you have to take - if you want love.
I am willing to take that chance - and I believe that person is out there somewhere - I just have not found him yet - but when I do we will both 'know' it.
yup, but then there are other times when things are running smoothly...almost TOO smoothly....lol
seriously, I seem to go through phases where everything seems like it's going to work any way except how I want it to - but things seem to have a way of working themselves out - sometimes I can push too hard and cause my own problems (not that I'm impatient or anything, lol)
I'm planning on enjoying my yard and porch, getting a bit more work done on my house. And then, in my free time, some shorter road trips and playing 'tourist' - checking out some of the stuff that makes Manitoba unique.
You don't have to answer this here - but reflect on why you stopped seeing him the first time around. No one here can tell you what you should do - in fact, you likely have a pretty good idea already of what you want to do and what it could potentially cost you....
Without knowing you or him - that's the best I can come up with for now.
I love all animals. Would have more around me if I could.
A little Tortoiseshell domestic shorthaired cat is my roomie. She is my best buddy. I've had cats ever since I've been living on my own, usually adopted from the local rescue shelter, therefore breeding lineage unknown. I've been blessed with some wonderful little companions.
Don't have a dog-friendly lifestyle - but maybe someday....as long as they get along with the cat.
I've learned to shut the ringer off on the phones when I'm on nights. Figured this would work - but I can still hear the answering machine when it picks up the calls.
