Distance does not bother me. But I am very much ingrained in where I live. To sell the farm would be a large undertaking. Not to mention the dependancy of my parents. So it goes. But 2 hrs in nothing in a day and to do it every weekend probably would not be a problem until the price of gas got more extreme.
I always leave a tip around. It is an image thing that I want the people who work the restaurant or cafe to know I appreciate them. Often leads to good and better service in the future.
High winds and lightening has given me trouble in the pass, but nothing compared to a huricane or tornado. I like to see the approach of thunderstorms with lightening display but when it is here I hope it passes quickly. A walk in the rain or just after the rain is romantic when freshness is restored, the air is clean.
