RE: Republicans trick people into voting for them

Were right. Forgot state income tax unless u live in Alaska.
laugh

RE: Whats the difference between Democrats and Republicans.

The initial OP seems reasonable, but may fail when considering the
rich republican and the rich democrate. They both have the same
selve serveing interest. One uses morality to justify there gain and
the other the mans immorality to man. This is why I go with the
democrates because they believe in freedom of immorality. Much
like freedom of speech. Sometimes I don't like to hear it but you
have the right to say it. drinking

RE: Republicans trick people into voting for them

That is income. Now add property tax. And in my case Sales tax
and water tax. Not to mention hidden gas tax. Not a pretty picture.

RE: Republicans trick people into voting for them

Taxes are bad when you have to live down at the river
IN A VAN. rolling on the floor laughing

RE: Republicans trick people into voting for them

RE: Republicans trick people into voting for them

RE: gas prices

$3.69 currently, still a dollar higher than it should be.

RE: Obama for President.............A clear soloution is prosperity and peace!!!

So that explains why the US had a surplus before the war and now
a massive deficit. WRONG. The Republican administration squander
the money on a illegal war, and still is.

RE: John McCain first, Country second... American Presidency a journey of personal discovery

It is amazing how much crap comes out from Republicans when
they know they are going to lose the election. Democrates only
have remind people that, are they better off today then 8 years
ago. yawn

RE: Obama for President.............A clear soloution is prosperity and peace!!!

Shame shame shame. Iraq war is draining the US. And you
wonder why the US is in financial trouble. McCantWin will be
true to his name Can't Win. scold

RE: John McCain first, Country second... American Presidency a journey of personal discovery

It all about nuts and squirrels. Have a good day as I must
do some work. wink wink wink

RE: John McCain first, Country second... American Presidency a journey of personal discovery

Yea all those people would have to buy insurance from other companies who know how to run the business. The lenders I was referring to would be the stockholders. Luckily, I am not of them.

RE: John McCain first, Country second... American Presidency a journey of personal discovery

A time when the poor of the community prospered under Clinton adminstration. Now, is the time when the poor do not prosper
because the repubs and maybe rich demos run the show. No
person was forced to take a loan. The poor only took what little
was given. And some are regretful even as they reside homeless
on the street. laugh

RE: John McCain first, Country second... American Presidency a journey of personal discovery

No they sold their stocks in the company long ago. All those
trusting people who loaned money to AIG are, well lets just say
not happy. rolling on the floor laughing

RE: John McCain first, Country second... American Presidency a journey of personal discovery

I agree it is biting me in the bum. I wonder if property taxes will
drop or will it be like gas prices dropping. Slowly laugh

RE: John McCain first, Country second... American Presidency a journey of personal discovery

no sure what is meant by Forced them to make the bad loans.
Nobody, I know forces loans in people except maybe the mafia.
But true the rich seize the oppertunity to make loans more
accessible to all people, particularily the poor knowing full well it
does not matter if they will be able to pay it back or not. It also
resulted elevated valuation of homes thereby allowing or justifying
the government to raise property taxes. You know you make it
hard for me to argue with u, sweeti. laugh laugh

RE: John McCain first, Country second... American Presidency a journey of personal discovery

Would you explain what beneficial product AIG does for humanity.
Right now it appears to be nothing. drinking

RE: John McCain first, Country second... American Presidency a journey of personal discovery

Not sure what u mean by interest only loan. Is that no down
payment on a house and u move in? Doesn't seem to matter in the
scheme of things. As long as the rich get their interest before the
poor are sent packing.

RE: John McCain first, Country second... American Presidency a journey of personal discovery

I see this all the time. Blame it on those who made bad loans.
But the reality of it is. Many loans are made on faith of someone
who has a job and is making money at the moment. Then
the person loses their job, can't pay the loan back and then
loses his/her house. The rich know this so it plays out in a
cycle. Give the poor a job. Sell them a house. Lay off the poor.
Take his house and equity. Meanwhile the rich gets richer and
the poor stays poor. Does not matter who is democrat or republican.
It is really just an issue of rich and poor. drinking

RE: John McCain first, Country second... American Presidency a journey of personal discovery

Maybe they will learn how to make a honest livin. I thought
we had a capitalist government. Maybe the value of the dollar
will go up again. wave wave

RE: Doesn't any other animal ever cross the road????

The chicken is the only animal that needs a reason to cross the road.

RE: John McCain first, Country second... American Presidency a journey of personal discovery

I just witnessed the biggest flip flop in the history of flip flops.
McCant said two days ago the economy is fundamentaly sound
and yesterday he said the economy is straddled with unbridled
corporate greed.

I guess he forgot to mention unbridled government greed too.

Now this morning AIG is being bailed out. An insurance company.

Once again the rich take care of the rich. laugh laugh laugh

RE: John McCain first, Country second... American Presidency a journey of personal discovery

Obviously this thread needs a poem.

Darwin once said its survival of the fittest.
So the Republican squirrels quickly collected nuts and hid them away.
But the squirrel with the least nuts quickly realized he was not the
richest
And squirrel with the most nuts proclaimed “Change your lazy ways”

Now frustrated and demeaned the squirrel with the lest nuts
proclaimed
“Greedy republican squirrels should be taxed so that all the squirrels
will have nuts in the planter”
Thus was born the democratic squirrel thus named
And all the squirrels lived happily through the winter.
