I don't like getting falling down drunk, I think I am probably a little too old for that sort of thing.
But when I am in certain situations, I may have a drink or two because it helps me relax, and more at ease and in that way be able to express myself easier.
It's funny you should mention the butterfly, Cherie.
Elisabeth Kubler-Ross, who wrote Death and Dying, visited concentration camps as a young woman years ago. In one particular camp, the young children had taken their fingernails and scratched butterflies in to the walls. She never could figure out the significance of the butterflies.
Years later, after spending many years working with the dying, and speaking with filks that have had NDE (near death experiences), she now knows that when you die, it is like going into a cocoon, you stay in that state for a while, and emerge as a beautiful butterfly in a new life.
Everyone that dies should foster hope that life goes on, and one day you will find yourself inside a new world, that of paradise, perhaps even reborn in a future life.
Hey there, I wanted to say hi and tell you I give you alot of credit. I too work full time and go to school and in fact am working on my second degree. It's not an easy job and i wish you luck.
Oh Sam, you missed it all!! They shut down the Forum for a few days and cleaned house. Not a pretty site, as you can see they are being pretty strict now.
What about that 1980's flick "Without a Trace" wher the woman's 6 year oldson was missing, and just when she thinks he may be gone, Judd Hirsch ( playing a cop) and his little boy bring her son home? The last seen where she is bringing home her groceries, the police cars are lined up around the block, she sees her boy and drops all of her groceries and runs into his arms?
I will admit that I enjoy a full flavored cup of coffee whe out, because inevitiably everyone makesa better cup than i do. Love Starbucks, even if pricey -Tim Hortons makes great coffee. Try to drink decaf at home, because it is better for me. And a great latte cam turn me on, I admit it!
If I am out on a date, it will probably be a full flavored cup, perhaps flavored depending on where we are. But if in the mood, I won't need to caffeinen to keep going (double wink wink) lol
Well Tom Cruise had Renee Zelweiger at "hello", lol!
You know, everybody talks about what is politically and socially correct, and we do so many things the way we think people might perceive them and to please other folks but to me i think you have to do what is right for you. Of course it is better to get to know someone a little first, a few dates. Other times, the chemistry may be right THERE -it is easy to get caught up in a moment and we can't torture ourselves for that either.
Just wanted to send a big shout out to everyone here and welcome them back!
I know the threads here mean a great deal to many of us and we have to respect the fact that because of the actions of a few new rules have been put in place for us to abide by.
I think we can all band together, try to follow these for the good of everyone.
I just wanted to let everyone know I missed each and every one of you and look forward to some great chats here.
RE: Do you need alcohol to express your feelings?
