Making sure they are up is the toughest, since I'm at work by the time they need to get up.

GO RIDERS GO

Dating - Can you remember that?

I remember dating - It's been awhile though.
I really prefer the group things - a little easier. I liked pool night - got to shoot some pool and meet others absolutly no pressure, and if you hit it off with someone - there's always a follow up date.

Morning Murray

Thanks Dawn but I can't take credit for this one...I stole it from the internationals.

I agree that you can usually tell within the first 10 min. I think the shortest coffe meeting I had was about 45 min and it was tough stretching it out - he couldn't carry on a conversation - it was like pulling teeth. The longest - dinner and a movie, so counting the movies 2hours was probably 4 hours.

RE: Is it me?

Will it pick up in the fall?

I hope so.cheers

Dating - Can you remember that?

On these initial encounters called first dates.

to you what is an acceptable amount of time to spend with this first encounter?

what do you think the amount of time being together would you consider a compatibility possibility?

RE: What can we do to get back the spark on here????

Plug something in.....It seems we get a few new people and they never stick around, these forums needs some life.

RE: I am back got a pulse, got the phone line working!

Chalk it up to the almighty Dollar. The company I'm at right now is in the middle of transfering all administrative type work to India (it's not going smoothly hehe) The word has changed from outsourcing to off shoring - In this computerized age - the will scan and send everything to India where an office of ?100? people will have it processed over night and by morning it will be ready to complete.

The collections call center that I used to work with also outsourced to India - and get this - I did primarely American calls - Imagine the Americans wondering why they are getting calls from Canadians...BUT in Canada you cannot as of yet collect from outside. Canadians must call Canadians.

Not only is outsourcing happening in India it is moving to Central America.
People will work very hard for a lot less, from the business perspective does this not make sense?

Let's have a picnic

I'll take a blanket - hmmmm but who do I cuddle with?

RE: Boring Saturday!!

yesterday - worked til 2, visited a friend, came home.

Today - house clean - top to bottom. Head to Kites over Callingwood for a bit.
Tomorrow - relax..

RE: If you were a Millionaire - what will you do?

one million - laugh buy a house here in Edmonton, a new vehicle, a couple houses for my kids...that would be it - gonzo.

RE: What did you dream about last night?

bits and pices - crazy dreams.

had a flash of a gorgeous truck - big mother - steel grey, back door - opened as a suicide door, wish it was mine. It was soooo nice.

Other parts of my dream, traveling in a cramped car, pot luck at a former workplace(Samosas that weren't Samosas), rescued a cat from under a floor. Extremely random things.

RE: How many & who have you dated from CS?

Wow after reading thru this thread....

I get the sense that Gary's been rejected, a few to many times. You are coming across as bitter.
I have met a lot of people, male and female thru this site. Have dated only one.
I prefer not to chat with guys from outside of Canada and those that can't keep a conversation going.
I have read the nice side of Gary - so I know it's there...
I don't expect to meet - the one - on a date site but if it happens great.

I do think that if out of 20 people, 5 don't want to talk - it might be them - if 20 don't want to talk - it might be you?

Let's have a picnic

I'll bring Coffee - we must have coffee for the morning.peace

RE: When You go out what do you Usually Drink???

I'm pretty random, like the girly drinks. Standard is W. Rum coke lime or paralyzer, but have been know to test out almost anything.
