Slow down on those Martinis or else your legs will be like platted cigarette ash when you come to walk! There does seem to be a "gun Ho" and "we will sort out the world" type attitude amongst some of your politicians and military leaders. Frightened of not having a job perhaps? I would guess the majority of Americans would take up arms to defend there homeland, and fight fiercly for it,but, once again,on foriegn soil?
I get the feeling that the majority of Americans appear to just want to enjoy there lifes, love there country, and see it do well and prosper. However, the media focuses on those who wish to involve America in everything thats going, which in turn can give a bad impression of what is a great country, full of decent people.
Thats it,if you like reading, you generally enjoy words. Its 14.40hrs here, and the sun is shining! I sound like the weather man! I dont do any reading,i am more a hands on sort of person.
Its no reflection on the crisis in Syria, people fighting for there freedom, but i cant say i blame the American public for not wanting to get involved. I would suggest the British public feel the same. Several countries have lost military personel, people are battling with finances and just have a desire for matters in there own country to be sorted before getting involved elsewhere. Whether not getting involved is right or wrong is a debate with fors and againsts on both sides.
