Since when has being smart been associated with believing in God. Surely,if you are going down that path, the smart ones are the ones that keep an open mind.
I cant argue with what you say. Many older ones on this site were taught discipline and respect for others by there perants without being beaten.Perants have to take responsibility, with help should they have an unruly child, which does happen.
When all said and done, the teacher is there to teach, and should not have to put up with this behaviour. Granted, there will always be the odd child that will be a "loose canon",and thats when a higher authority steps in and deals with it. Other children are disrupted by this behaviour. It is up to the perants to direct a child in life,to teach respect, self discipline ect. Sadly,as society has moved on,many perants do not take that responsibility on,and others like teachers end up trying to deal with the problem.
i dont disagree with you at all. The problem comes when the police and courts are forced into baling them under the P.A.C.E act 1984,a very complicated act. Another is the problem of logistics. Sadly, the juvinile places just dont exist. I agree, build more. Again, anyone attending these doesnt have to be beaten, but disciplined, which can be done in many ways.
Sorry, forgot to mention, the above are actually true, and only a drop in the ocean. Borstals have not existed in the UK for many, many years. Is that a mistake?
From what i understand,a company buys the company, not the staff. It is up to the selling company to make the staff redundant, compensation, ect, and if the new company wishes then to employ them, then a contract is drawn up,but they are under no obligation to do so.
I wont access it.To be honest,i dont have a need for a computer,i never do anything with it apart from, maybe read the news, and now have a dabble on this site. I dont recieve e-mails,not interested in photos ect. It has taught me a basic knowledge of computers though so i dont feel to much of a dinosaur!
I have had this one 5 yrs. In no way did i intend to have one,but a Spanish friend upgraded hers and went on and on for me to have this,so i did. It doesnt get used much, nothing stored on it,but in the last week it has started to "crash" a couple of times a day. When it goes "bang" i will not bother getting another one.
Actually,in February this year,i woke up in the night, startled by a dream,(and i never ever remember dreams),looked at the clock,it was 04.15. At 05.15,i recieved a phone call from the UK,imforming me of the death of the person in my dream. So,i awoke from having this dream at the same time this person died, bearing in mind the Uk is 1 hour ahead in time. I cant explain it.
