I really believe in Karma.I believe whatever u do ,good or bad u'll pay for it one day.In this life or in ur next life.I dont know why i believe that ,but i think the purpose of our lives is that.U live ,u do good things and bad things then u r getting revarded for ur good actions and get punished for ur bad behavour.Qwality of ur next life depends on ur actions in this life.
Am I making any sence? Or I m being just to naive?

I dont think you are being naive. Your belief is as good as any other belief. Who knows what happens. We can all make our beliefs fit the circumstances,or are they in fact truth. All i know if Karma exists,i am in for alot of grief!

At times, I don`t know what to make of it . Is there some balance of power in the universe ,one that is invisible to me a small particle of dust in the grand design. If I touch 220V with wet hands , will Karma punish me for being stupid or for my sins from the past ... can you see my dilemma now???

I have seen Karma work too many times to not believe it. Perhaps I'm lucky. I fully believe that people who are deliberately unkind, mean, etc...will be fully compensated for their ornerynous.
I like Karma when it's the belief that I do good things therefore good thing happen to me, and not, good things happen to me therefore I must be a good person.
Although, I don't actually believe necessarily that good begets good and bad begets bad because life really isn't that fair.

Superior power rules......whatever you believe, people will put their own interpretation on events. PERSONALLY, I like the idea of justice, balance, kismet, karma, fate....all leading to the point that there are things beyond our control. Humility is a trait to be proud of.....BUT NOT IN EXCESS!!!
Karma is my best friend. It seems that the more I help other people, the better my life gets. What you put out comes back. Just don't ever pass an opportunity to help a stranger. Hold a door open, offer to help cary something, smile and say hello, go out of your way to make people smile, yes it sounds cheesey, but it has its own rewards. Try it.

I agree .I think Karma has own calculation methods.so surcimstances would be taken to account too.

See... I've seen .. "Karma" or as I'd like to call Poetic justice happen sometimes. But then... there's times when it doesn't happen. I like to think that each person should become the 'Karma' and make it happen.
Karma for me is a lazy excuse to hope that something bad happens someone else for wrong doing, without getting back at them yourself. It's a cop out in some respects.

Thanks for this post. I think we often forget that Karma can be, and often is, very good.
bodleing: It depends on the measure of what you call a charmed life.
People can be happy amongst hardship, in fact some people can be happy for no reason at all...that's what I would call a charmed life.
Sure I am happy most of the time and consider myself very lucky during my life time, for the most part anyway :) G so not personally bothered lol. Still dont believe in karma though.

One thing about Karma is, unlike religion you don't have to believe in it for it to work for you...

Should be more like you. You won't make the world a better place but you will stop it from getting any worse.
By it's simplest definition, if you do something bad to some else you will know what it is like to have the same thing done to you and vice versa for good deeds. It is a simple balancing of experience. And yes I believe in Karma.

maby true,,,, but atleast i try to make the world a little beter for the people i see smile. that alone proves i made a little difference in that persons life. a small good deed can make a huge differences. i was shown a small kindess once when everyone else i knew turned their back on me. it saved my life.
