The United States is a democracy last time I checked.
Perhaps Bush is unpopular but he was elected by a majority of the voters.
The United States and it allies like Canada, Britain, Australia and the EC (European Community), are attempting to bring democracy to tyrants and despots running the Arab countries in the Middle East.
Other dangerous leaders are those running Iran and Syria.
