RE: For the Older Set!!!!

I really don't mind when I think, with a grin,
of all the grand places my get up has been.
Since I have retired from life's competition,
I accommodate myself with complete repetition.

RE: Is Religion important in the life.

The only real truth in this is that there is not a resolution as to who is right
and who is wrong.

Whatever it takes to sustain your life and if possible, make it a better place
for others seems reasonable to me.

To each his own.

RE: Is Religion important in the life.

eIf we are speaking science vs religion vs spirituality...

Science deals with using many imaginary, invisible methods of pursuing
highly complex problems.

It probably works out because we imagine it to be.
Our brains imagine this.

Everyone see reality in a different way. All our perceptions are unique.
All people's brains process things differently.
The perceptions are 'inside' us - not 'out there'.
'Cause' is inside. 'Effect' is what we see out there.

Soul is inside us, all around us, throughout the Universe and beyond.
We are energy and everything else is, too.
Soul is pure energy plus information. (creative unlimited potential energy)

RE: who are the people we should feel the most sorry for in this world ?

From david1967's post.

Profoundly, profoundly sad.

RE: who are the people we should feel the most sorry for in this world ?

The narrowminded and complainers. They're a sad, sorry lot, aren't they. laugh

RE: What is PAIN??? and How do you deal with it???

Pain is the effect of some kind of disfunction.

The degree of the disfunction will be the
degree of the pain.

(It would seem)

Emotional or physical

RE: Is Religion important in the life.

Just a question.

That we have the question of creation and evolution
all answered. What's the point now in being here?

Those that believe that (we- in a universal sense)
have a soul are part and parcel of a much bigger
picture. Not only are we all part of all that exists
but our soul does not just die and that is the end
of it.

I can put both (soul and evolution) together and
feel satisfied with that picture in my mind and soul.
Of course science 'explains' a good deal about
procreation and a great many other aspects of our
universe. I have a preference to believe that our
soul is the 'cause' of the goodness, joy and true
evolvement to a better and greater good. I believe
that pure science will always 'strive' to come up with
all the answers to all that is - but may never quite
reach it. Either way, It's exciting from both points of
view. I just think soul believers may have a more
optimistic view of existence since for those of us
who do believe....we have eternity-and then,
of course, I believe we all do. grin

RE: odd conversation

One sided, isn't it.........dunno

RE: odd conversation

RE: Are we who we think we are ?

It's truly refreshing to 'see' words written in honesty from a humble and 'gentle' man.

You've always been kind and real.
