Basic Flying Rules: 'Try to stay in the middle of the air. Do not go near the edges of it The edges of the air can be recognized by the appearance of ground, buildings, sea, trees and interstellar space. It is much more difficult to fly there.'
My dad, an RAF pilot told me that (he left out the interstellar space bit)
I think if you know up front and accept it, later it is difficult to complain about it. If it is going to bug you, do not date. We can never change others, just ourselves.
