Come, wrap yourself in clouds of steam scented with vanilla and with me. Burst ice cold bubbles of the best champagne against my lips and chase the errant drops until you find them nestled in the hollow of my throat, then take a bite of strawberries and cream, contrasting textures that spur the appetite for more delights that I will whisper to you, floating words on heated breath into your eager ear. Could not resist, Ambrose!
I know exactly what you mean! Sometimes I go to do another blog and no one has posted since I did; I used to go away again then recently I saw quite a few people doing double and triple posts so I thought what the hell.
It isn't so much what others might think of me (although there are frequently comments about people posting too many threads) it is more that this is a free site and I am a guest, and I was brought up to be quiet helpful guest, not a center of attention guest.
Also topics with a great deal of potential are ignored, sink quickly never to be seen again. People seem more comfortable in the light hearted or controversial threads. A shame.
I never used to be able to exhaust myself, I could work fourteen hours, go out dancing til dawn and then do it all over again. Now I decide an evening with a book is as much fun as going out to salsa.
And this blurry vision thing! New glasses every three years?
Moi? Cause havoc? Don't think so. I just had quite a bit to say on divinity but I was pretty much ignored except by my friends so I don't think I did anything bad.
The only people I have seen ridiculed here are Trish and I think it was Flower on the Snow.
Why assume anyone needs to be enlightened?
Perhaps it is not the faith that is being belittled but the intrinsic arrogance of believing one has the power to enlighten someone else that is garnering a negative reaction.
RE: Why Do Woman Do This...
It happens the other way around too. Don't take it personally.
