At the same time alot of Americans became anti Islamic. People that had been friends and neighbors for years were treated horribly. Just because some of a certain culture are mad or evil doesn't mean they all are. One of my daughters friends had to be home schooled because the kids were sending her death threats and treating her horribly.
I was in my AMAP class. We heard it on the radio. Class was cancelled so those that had loved ones could call and try to find out about them. The rest of the day the work place was eerily quiet. We had a TV on in the staff lounge and phones for people to call.
