A young fella was visiting his grandfather in the mountains one weekend. He figured that he would cook supper for for them both. He reached up in the cupboard and grabs some dishes, he looks at them and says "grandfather, do you wash your dishes?" His grandfather replies "they are so clean as cold water can get them" so the young fella thinks it over and says "well ok, sure, why not".
He cooks supper and they both sit down and start eating. After they had finished, he grandfather asks is he would like to go up the mountain for a walk, he says "sure". On his way to the porch, his grandfather says "while your out there, can you grab a can of dog food, I got to feed cold water before we leave".
Everyone from the companies that make the drugs to the addicts themselves has their part to play in it. The addicts unfortunately are the ones who suffer because of it. Need to hold companies and (some) doctors accountable and need to put in good programs for rehab and treatment for the addicts.
Shortly after take-off aboard an Air Canada flight from St. John's to Boston, the head flight attendant nervously said, "I don't know how this happened but we have 103 passengers on board and unfortunately we received only 40 dinners. I truly apologize for this mistake and inconvenience." While the passengers muttered among themselves, she continued, "Anyone who is kind enough to give up their meal so that someone else can eat will receive free and unlimited drinks for the duration of the flight."
Her next announcement came about 2 hours later. "If anyone is hungry, we still have 40 dinners available."
Jack was returning to work Monday morning with two black eyes. His workmates were understandably curious: "Jack, what happened to you?!?" "It was the darndest thing! I was at church yesterday, and this woman stood up in front of me. You know how a dress can get stuck in the crack of a womans butt? It looked funny and I figured she wouldn't like that, so I just reached over and pulled it out with a little tug. Next thing I know, she spins around and socks me one!"
"Jeez, you got TWO black eyes in one blow?"
"Naw. After she turned back around, I figured she was angry that I pulled the dress out of her crack, so I tried to poke it back in..."
For this time of year, a decent morning here is above freezing with no precipitation. Most of Canada is warmer than where I am, the ocean has a cooling effect on the weather here.
