In the movie, "Sometimes a Great Notion" back in the 1960's , Henry Fonda turned to Lee Remmick while they were standing on the wrap around porch at sunset and told her what live was about when she asked the same exact question. The answer was so profound!
Regardless of political views....it doesn't hurt to do recycling and things like that....there are finite resources...might as well recycle it as put it in a landfill.
Someday landfills might be considered a major resource, if one thinks about it...
I don't think that Fox News will sue the original poster for copyright infringement.
Where I do agree with you is that a "good idea" is a good idea regardless of where it comes from... Thus far, there's not many good ideas on the table....and politicians politically charge the issue by inflating the numbers.
And lastly, if people would get away from what government can do for them, and instead...."what can I do for myself"...the country would be a better place. (at one time it was called self-reliance)
Honestly, I'm not in favor of capping medical field salaries, moreso I was making the point of there being plenty of blame to go around for high health costs. If Hillary Care happens, I think you'll see people leaving the medical profession, or at least not entering it.
On a related note about healthcare though...I woke up at 6:45 this morning and got to thinking about health care issues. Then it came to me in a vision....
1) John Dingel (D-Michigan) is proposing a 50 cent gas tax on gas and desiel l fuels. Hillary Clinton (D-New York/Arkanas) is basically proposing National Health Care. Take that 50 cent gas tax increase (about $10 per fill up) and apply it to Hillary Care. Scwhing, problem solved. The one problem that's created: the poor WILL get their medical care coverage...just won't be able to afford the gas to get to the doctor! Costs WILL be contained.... and everyone can feel good about themselves
