I don't think anyone has a constitutional right to come, or be allowed in the United States. But once a person gets in, they get better freebies than most U.S. citizens.
Is it possible he/she was acting in a strange manner? Did he/she have something in their luggage that caused suspicion?
It's rather odd that more people want to come to this country than want to escape it...
Just for a point of reference, the Patriot Act was approved by both Houses and signed by the President. Thus far it's not been overturned by the Supreme Court.
If he/she really wants to come to this country, just have her/him enter thru the Mexican border....won't be a problem. There's no one left in Mexico to stop him/her.
I'd to into the town counsel's office and light up a cigarette, since they banned smoking in all businesses in the town. Doubt the 2nd hand smoke would have a dramatic effect on them if they're going to be taking their celestial dirt nap within 24 hours
1) Breyers butter pecan ice cream 2) hot tea on a chilly evening 3) night autumn breeze by a crackling fire 4) women 5) two stretched out on a sofa... 6) comedy clubs (Larry Reeb in particular) 7) my grandaughter <cuz she's soooooo cute> 8) America 9) a well made Long Island 0) fresh sheets :)
It's according to the distance, I believe. If it's a situation where 2 people can be together on weekends, it's possible...but I do think there has to be some human contact. Over the long haul, emails and phone calls don't really cut it...at least that's my view.
It comes down to how far is long distance? 100 miles, 200, 500...etc.?
I may be the only one bothered w/the "3rd arm"....but I find myself staring at the picture wondering about the the whole picture and not just the cropped portion .......
(that's what happens when we have too much free time, I guess???)
Well, if I put my mug shot up here, I hope that females will too. Looks aren't the end all/be all....but there has to be some attraction.
Something I look for, and I've not seen it posted yet.....is political leanings....as that all ties to value systems, in my lil' ole' view of the world.
Also look to see if they think they can save the world or have a need to "help" everyone they know. (been there, done that)
And lastly, I look for that "3rd arm" in the picture....for some reason, it's a turn off. I'm sure people have to put the pics they have available, but...still, it's a distraction.
And as Forrest Gump said, "....and that's all I know about that..."
Well GldDgs, I did go to that website you recommended. I scanned some of the authors...of course Shehan was there. No need to read any farther. Even the far left wing has tossed her over the boat...
By chance, have you spent a little too much time watching "The View"? You seem to spew the Rosie O'Donnell line well. About the only "line" you forgot was "fire won't melt steel"...
As far as the U.S. media, 90%+ consider themselves either Democrat or liberal and the news reflects their bias, so I'm unclear how you come to your conclusions about the media being biased toward Bush. (I don't consider myself a Bush fan, btw.)
I do recall some vote fraud in the 2000 election; there was a strong effort to suppress the military until it became public, then Gore backed off. Of course, in Wisconsin there were students bribing homeless people to vote with cigarettes.
Since you're a wealth of knowledge, can you share with everyone, in a step by step method, how it works that being in Iraq helps the oil companies/big business. Again, please do it step by step. You're so much more intelligent than the rest of us, but I promise, I'll try to follow your logic.
As far as the complaint from the gentleman regarding only 1 son of a Senator/Representative serving in Iraq, we've not had a draft in 20 years, at least. Our soldiers chose to serve. Incidently, there's 435 representatives and 100 senators....not a total of 600 for the person with that complaint.
If you'd like to start another blog/forum, I'll follow along.
Actually, you sound like a very bitter person who's not happy, never been happy, nor will ever be happy. Almost feel sorry for you, if you weren't so hateful...
RE: Extra! Extra! Read all about it.....CS Dating thread...come here and pick a date for the night!
