I can't say that I support Bush, but as I recall, he had a higher GPA than Algore in college. In his defenSe!!! For sure he didn't invent the internet...though~
Also remember the old ferries in the southern part of the state that would take people across the "rivers".... Usually there was 1 guy (and usually uglier than sin) who had a hunting knife stuck in his belt...

Well.............S.O.S is pretty good........and I think it's still called that at truck stops.
My granny used to whip up chocolate gravy for me on her kitchen wood stove when I visited her in Ky.....when I was 4-5 yrs. old. Some things we don't forget. (and yes, she did get an electric stove eventually :)
played h.s. football on a newly consolidated high school football team. We won by an average of 40 points per game. Last game of the season we beat an undefeated team 81-0.
Three weeks ago we had a team reunion. The coach, while very frail, still had the same winning spirit and sense of humor. T'was good to see the guys...although most of us had went our seperate ways, all turned out to be "good" people.
Seems trivial...but a valued life experience that none of us will ever forget. (and no...we didn't run the score up...)
