I dont think this is wise idea for you because we dont know exactly your real love story is. Yes he is cheated on you because he has other girl. Even he is honest with you and telling all his regrets, do you think you are able to forget ,accept him and get along with him and her shadow ? I think if he really loves you and cares about you even though you are busy as hell he will not leave you for another woman. In opposites he shuld support your career as a bussiness person.
