You know, looking back,I've done some pretty crazy things.I remember two days after my accident,I was doing snow removal as a side job,and we got a big snowstorm, and I COULDN'T find anybody to replace me,so I WENT OVER TO HER HOUSE,with a broken rib....and shoveled her snow.
It was quite the pathetic site,I tell you.I was holding my chest with one hand, and with the other hand,I SLOWLY removed the snow.It took me about 4 hours to clear her walkway...but somehow,I GOT THE JOB DONE.lol
In February of 2005,I SLIPPED off an icy plank at work, and fell 30 feet, chest first, into steel rails and came less than a quarter of an inch from puncturing my lungs.Miraculously,I only broke on rib,and was back at work 3 months later after re-hab.The doctor told me I'M LUCKY,BECAUSE I should have been dead or in a wheelchair from that type of a fall.....so I'm grateful.
We're living in a fast paced world, and for me,it's not that people are boring,it's just that some people just don't know how to get to the point with what they have to say.
I also worked,when I was a teenager,as a cook,in a senior citizens home.It was pretty depressing at times.
However, there were a few miracles. Like one man who lived until 105 years old,or another man,who was in a wheelchair and the doctor said he would never walk again, and witnessing his nurse get him off his chair, holding his hand, and helping him walk across the room.
