Happiness is about being grateful for what you have, instead of being miserable about what you don't have.So simple,yet so hard for the human mind to comprehend.
I think until they got help for their drinking,ALCOHOLICS would drink against their will,so no,they didn't have any control until they were ready for help.
Not that I'm an alcoholic,but you have over 5 million people who claim to be recovering from alcoholism through A.A. ,CLAIMING that it's an illness.I don't want to be the judge,but it seems hard to argue against them.I believe it's an EMOTIONAL ILLNESS,or if you will,I think alcoholics are spiritually sick.
