When I was 24,I was a huge ego-maniac,but you also learn with age to drop the 'EGO' a bit,and that any strength you have is a gift....USE IT WISELY,AND USE IT FOR GOOD.
You know what I MEAN,like when a womans car is stuck in the snow or someone needs help carrying things that are too heavy for them...help them out.
You're right.......not bad for 24 years old,but you're peek strength is between 30 and 35,and when you get to be an old man like me.....you'll realize that.Physically,I FEEL ALOT STRONGER TODAY than when I WAS 24.
I think the bottom line is that healthy people attract healthy people, and unhealthy people attract unhealthy people.
I was in a few very unhealthy relationships, relationships that weren't built on mutual respect and love...but on DEPENDENCY.A RELATIONSHIP WHICH can only bring two people downhill.
I'm a mason by trade so I enjoy doing powerlifting over bodybuilding.I find it gives me the extra edge when I'm building on scaffolds.I train for inner strength rather than look.
.....AND YES.......I GRUNT AND I GROAN when I TRAIN.I'M A GROWLER.
RE: Toxic Relationships.....
Yes,I have, and I think part of GETTING HEALTHY is learning to draw BOUNDRIES........AND not accept CRAP that other people try to put on you.
