I am not picky...if someone wants to send me flowers...they can pick out what they would like to send...I promise, I will be very happy about any flowers I receive....
I'm not big on flowers. They wilt. They die. They end up in the compost.
It just isn't a great representative of a lasting relationship somehow.
I'm more for practicality and well thought out intentions.
Like, a man giving me mechanical pencils because he knows I hate ink pens, and some hair ties without the little metal clasp because it pulls my hair, and a new dustpan because mine chipped on the underside of the frig and now catfood keeps slipping through the chipped part when I sweep the kitchen.
Zellarrone1: I'm not too keen on flowers as a gift, destined to end their days stuck in a vase. Also, somehow they always remind me of hospitals and funerals.
However, I like to see them growing and flourishing in a garden where they belong
Also, I love Bonsai trees for some strange reason
Same here.
I don't like dying things. For me are flowers dying plants and I don't like it to get dead things. I like it more if the flowers are in a plant pot or in the garden.
I like getting flowers with an original message, not one already available and I would prefer nice notes with them,be they personal or just to say hello to me,almost every woman loves flowers,me included!
Virtual flowers - yup! Real live flowers - only when they're still growing in their cozy flowerbeds or in the meadow
A good friend of mine from Holland used to send me photos of the tulips in bloom in the spring.... Miles and miles of live 'carpets' of tulips, as far as the eye can see... Those were pretty amazing!! Some of the best "flowers" I ever got.
