Lovin' Spoonful - Happy Together Lovin' Spoonful - You Didn't Have to be so Nice The Mamas & The Papas - Dedicated to the One I Love Mama Cass - Dream a Little Dream of Me
One odd fact is common to all of these pitches - the "borrowed account." This is something I don't understand. Since the redirected email address is usually to a free provider, why didn't the first email originate from it?
I don't know if it's a common thought... but it does happen a lot. And not only on CS. I've gotten dozens of letters 'out of the blue" from women telling me how great they are. Being bored, I'll often respond just to see how the "pitch" has evolved. It's pretty much the same as it was 10 years ago.
1) A photo of a young attractive woman living in the former Soviet Union (usually the Ukraine) is sent to me.
2) I am told all manner of sweet and endearing things.
3) She tells me that she borrowed someone else's account to send that email and I should send all emails to some other address.
4) When I reply, I am told that she wants to meet with me and has made all the necessary arrangements.
5) She leaves her home on her way to meet me - often finding herself in Moscow for the very first time.
6) Suddenly, for some foreseeable but unforeseen reason these plans fall completely apart.
7) Now she's stuck in a strange city with no money or relatives to help her.
8) She sends me pleas urging me to send her enough money to complete the trip.
My ex first attempted a "til death do you part" style divorce. This was just the climax of a 3 year marriage that went sour about 4 months in. Other than that my list isn't as bad as yours. My point is that not all women are "sugar and spice."
RE: Love is in the air...........
Thanks. I hate to admit it... but love songs are my favorites. Don't tell anyone, ok?
