RE: Has anyone ever cancelled their CS account and then came back!

Nah, this is the only ident I've used here.

Too bad we can't change the title of this thread to...

"Has anyone ever cancelled their account and then come back announcing how happy he was to be back and then abruptly left again?" laugh

RE: Why do women lie?

Just out of curiousity, assuming the guy wasn't interested, would you prefer being told he's seeing someone or have him admit that you just don't "do it" for him?

RE: Friend or fool?

I suspect it's more a matter of "wouldn't."

RE: How comfortable are u being single?

My condolences.

RE: What is your worst fear in love??

That is a matter of preference. For me, a taste of honey is 100 times worse than none at all. Ignorance truly is bliss. You can't miss something you never had.

RE: Friend or fool?

I don't think you were a fool. HE was, but you weren't.

RE: How comfortable are u being single?

Charlie Brown ... "Rats -- Nobody sent me a Christmas card today. I almost wish there weren't a holiday season. I know nobody like me. Why do we have to have a holiday season to emphasize it?"

RE: How comfortable are u being single?

Yeah. Thanksgivings with a Swanson's Turkey TV dinner really drives the point home.

RE: How comfortable are u being single?

Don't worry. When you meet him, you'll suddenly realize how uncomfortable you are.

RE: To forgive or forget ?

Yes, zero tolerance for blatant disrespect too.

RE: To forgive or forget ?

Maybe for some people, but not me. I'm normally a trusting person, but break it once and I won't give you the opportunity to do it again.

RE: To forgive or forget ?

Me neither. I have a "zero tolerance" for chearters.

RE: To forgive or forget ?

I agree with you there. Once trust has been betrayed, there's no getting it back. The question then becomes whether or not you want to stay in a relationship with someone you can't trust.

RE: To forgive or forget ?

IMO, no. Continuing to discuss them is a sign that forgiveness wasn't granted.

RE: To forgive or forget ?

True, but not all of them require forgiveness.

CS popups??

I haven't found where this setting is. It's probably whatever the default value is.

RE: What is your worst fear in love??

I thought the saying was, whatever DOESN'T kill you.

I don't know about "makes you stronger." I've found "whatever doesn't kill you leaves you scarred for life" to be far more true.

RE: To forgive or forget ?

Most important... not to do anything that would require forgiveness.

RE: What is your worst fear in love??

I gotta agree with you there... fear of rejection has been (and continues to be) my biggest barrier. In answering this question I had presumed this barrier had been overcome.

RE: How comfortable are u being single?

Time doesn't heal - it only numbs.

I agree with the lyrics, "only love can break a heart... only love can mend it again."

RE: How comfortable are u being single?

I didn't mean to imply it's easy... merely that numbness makes life less painful.

RE: What is your worst fear in love??

Then I would say, you won't be truly happy until you give your heart free reign.

RE: How comfortable are u being single?

It's been so long since I've had those things that I don't remember what they're like - and this makes it a lot easier to be comfortable.

RE: What is your worst fear in love??

IMO... yes - but only if you're willing to risk having it ripped to shreds.

Cliffs and barbed wire be damned... with the right partner, it IS worth it. With the wrong one, not even close.

RE: What is your worst fear in love??

In other words... if I love myself, what do I need HER for? laugh

RE: What is your worst fear in love??

Yes, there are guys who are turned off by "needy" women. I'm not one of them. I enjoy filling a woman's need if she's willing to fill mine.

The degree of trust that's built in this kind of relationship defies the ability to describe.

RE: What is your worst fear in love??

Unfortunately this is a task that can't be done alone.

RE: What is your worst fear in love??

To phrase differently...

It's my job to love her, and her job to love me.

RE: What is your worst fear in love??

This is a popular misconception. It's entirely possible to love someone else without loving yourself.

RE: do you believe in soulmates?

I agree with this, except you have to find someone who believes in the soulmate concept. Those who don't have no desire to become one.
