CS popups??

I just realized I've never seen that movie.

For romance movies, I'm a fan of "Ghost" and "City of Angels." (HATED the way CoA ended... but I suppose that's the way it had to...)

CS popups??

Some actually LIKE being bit. blushing

RE: Carter's Last Stand

This is what I meant in another thread when I said I thought that quitting was a requirement here.

CS popups??

Too much of a gentleman.

CS popups??

rolling on the floor laughing

RE: All I got to say is this

Ah yes... good ole Sadie Hawkins!

Unfortunately, as I recall it, the tradition requires waiting until Feb 29.

CS popups??

Yes, my tongue is STILL bleeding!laugh

CS popups??

THAT was also part of the problem. Sifting through all the "chaff" (to put it kindly) to find the wheat. At the time, there was no real single source for the addons. I can't recall how much time I spent Googling looking for them.

CS popups??

Well... admittedly it's been a while... but last time I tried Firefox it claimed to be a tabbed browser - only to discover that you needed to install and activate an addon to achieve it. Then you have to find the addon to enable Flash. And Java. And on and on.

Competing with FF was Avant - a fully functional tabbed browser "right out of the box." I still use it from time to time. I mainly use Dr. Orca though. It's very much like Avant, but I like the differences.

CS popups??

I used to use Avant Browser (runs on the IE shell) until the author also came out with a gecko version (Dr. Orca). It does everything I want, and then some - no addons needed.

CS popups??

Maybe so, once you find the addons. I gave up on it.

CS popups??

for me to use, I mean (... wide open...)

CS popups??

There ought to be a :bitingtongue: emoticon!

CS popups??

No apology necessary - I enjoyed the joke once I got it. laugh

CS popups??

Cuz I can't stand installing addons, and it's almost useless without them.

CS popups??

hehe took me until wandering's reply to understand prncss' post! :)

CS popups??

Thank you for the reply. My browser is Dr. Orca (a Firefox clone), and it blocks them in SO many ways I couldn't be sure I'd undone them all. I might have to go back to using IE when on CS... I can't seem to get that browser to block a darn thing! LOL!

CS popups??

I use a browser that is fairly aggressive in blocking all kinds of popups. I know it's effective because I do receive a very brief notice that something was blocked. What I'm now wondering is... does CS use a lot of popups?

I've gotten the impression that this website has an IM feature. Is this true? If so, I'm wondering if my browser might be blocking them.

RE: Has anyone ever cancelled their CS account and then came back!

I thought quitting (or being kicked out) and then coming back with a different account name was a requirement here.

RE: Sound off on what your favorite movie is.

RE: THE LAW IS THE LAW!

First Amendment - emphasis mine

Congress shall make NO LAW respecting an establishment of religion, or PROHIBITING THE FREE EXERCISE THEREOF.

Nowhere in the Constitution are the words "separation of church and state" found.

RE: Favorite Saying

Just because you're paranoid doesn't mean they're not out to get you!

RE: What nationality of people do you most find attractive looking?

I prefer long tall leggy blondes... so yeah, I agree with you.

What is the longest you've "gone without"?

I don't feel so bad now. It seems a third of those responding are in the same boat I am (5+ years). What surprises me though is that 3 out of 4 have gone a whole year.

RE: Nature vs. Nurture

Happy home: 100% Nature.
Unhappy home.... % impossible to determine.

RE: Revenge - Have you ever *Paid someone back?*

No... but I let it be known that I knew about what she tried to do. This was a subtle hint that she should be watching her back.

Under these circumstances, NOT doing anything was much worse than anything I could have done!

So I guess the answer would technically be "Yes" even though I didn't actually do anything.

RE: The meaning of your name

He who supplants

RE: Nature vs. Nurture

My answer is: Yes.

Two children brought up in the same home with lots of love can become two very different people. But if a child isn't raised well, I would expect the odds of a happy outcome drop drastically.

RE: IM's

I don't like or use them. I have none installed at all. I went to the trouble of removing the one that comes with Windows.

RE: I need some ideas

Dunno what you have on your computer, but Fleetwood Mac and Genesis are two groups I could frequently listen to.
