yeh its a petty issue, so why would one lie about it. if the person is attractive doesnt matter if their 40 or 52? being that its so minor and they felt the need to lie about it to make themselves appear "better" whatelse will they lie about to "appear even better"? i dont see it as judgmental to have an issue cuz someone choose to lie...I wouldnt leave them cuz they are 5-10 yrs older, its the fact they initially lied. thats just me tho..
It would change my opinion of them, only cuz a lie is a lie. Doesn't really start a good foundation for a relationship, if they lie about something so minor as their age...makes me wonder what major things they may lie about. Not sure its a reason I would end the relationship for; however, am sure I would start investigating more on what other things they've said to check if other info is accurate.
